The Mexican electronica artist Fernando Corona is the performing and recording artist behind Murcof. His music is about experimenting with electronic and classical music in its rather minimalistic expression. Murcof merges digital precision with acoustic warmth and tries to find harmony and complementation between them. He understands his art as a form of reflecting today’s digitalised way of interacting with the world, with each other and even with ourselves.
Guided by her natural curiosity the pianist Vanessa Wagner likes to travel through the vast repertoire of her instrument, from works written for the fortepiano to compositions of our own time.
